Debra Maurer '75 Ondeyka's Legacy
For Debra Maurer '75 Ondeyka, Susquehanna University has always represented more than a place where she earned her degree. It is a community that shaped her intellectual curiosity and her belief in the power of education to open doors.
Mark Yoder '80
As a student at Susquehanna, Mark studied geological and environmental science. He later earned an MBA from the University of Denver, and today is the owner of Granite Reality & Investment LLC, a full-service real estate agency headquartered in Denver.
Nancy '61 and Sue '66 Davis
Following Nancy’s graduation with a business degree in 1961, Sue also enrolled at Susquehanna — and also pursued business. Both were active members of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority, furthering their bond of sisterhood.
Matthew Curran '92 and Jane Petersen '92 Curran
Matthew Curran '92 and Jane Petersen '92 Curran chose to attend SU for different reasons, but both knew it was a perfect fit. The couple met in their sophomore year at the university.
Jay '72 and Andrea '72 Endrusick
Last year, the LGBTQ+ Resource Center at Susquehanna University was dedicated in memory of Erynn Reiss and in recognition of the philanthropy of her parents, Jay '72 and Andrea '72 Endrusick.
Karen Olson '71
Karen Olson '71 followed an unconventional path after graduating from Susquehanna with a degree in Music Education. After two years of teaching elementary school music, she enlisted in the Air Force as a vocalist.
Leona Martin
In 2022, Leona Martin, professor emerita of Spanish, established The Leona Martin Endowment for Languages, Literatures and Cultures. The fund honors Nonie's parents, and is a celebration of her passion for language, culture, and teaching.
Margaret (Meg) Pierce '96 and Todd '97 Frantz
Margaret (Meg) Pierce '96 and Todd '97 Frantz met as students when she was pursuing a degree in theater, and he was studying geological and environmental science.

Mark '80 and Ellen Knutson '79 Kramm met at Susquehanna. Both were math majors, and one of their early connections to each other was through their coursework.
