The couple met in their sophomore year at the university. "Susquehanna brought us together, and we are forever grateful," says Matt. Jane added, "We also met many lifelong friends, and we were able to participate in numerous SU activities and traditions."

The Currans remain active within the Susquehanna community, attending various alumni events and SU Break Through, which connects alumni and current students. Matt even hired a Susquehanna student for a summer internship in the past.

Charitable giving has always been a priority for their family. Jane and Matt commented, "We always make Susquehanna a part of our yearly giving. We regularly support SU and wanted to be a bigger part of the Susquehanna legacy. Providing a planned gift is easy and allows us to play a role we otherwise would not be able to with our annual donation."

The Currans designated SU a beneficiary of their estate plan. Their gift will support career development, Global Opportunities (GO) and the LemonsAid Scholarship. "SU provided so much for us; we wanted to give back and pay it forward," noted Matt.
