With thoughtful gift planning you can make a powerful gift to Susquehanna University—one that reflects your values while ensuring opportunity, forging success and inspiring excellence for all Susquehanna students. How might you make an impact before 2025 ends?

Consider the following ways to give:

Appreciated Securities

Gifts of securities, such as stocks and mutual funds, entitle you to an income tax charitable deduction for their full market value. You avoid capital gains tax if the securities that you contribute have appreciated in value.

Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD)

If you are 70½ or older, you can make a tax-free gift of up to $108,000 in 2025 to Susquehanna University from your IRA account. Your gift is not included in taxable income from your IRA. If you are age 73 or older, a QCD gift can satisfy your required minimum distribution (RMD) without increasing your income taxes.

Donor-Advised Funds

Make an outright gift now by recommending a grant to Susquehanna or create a succession plan to recommend that Susquehanna receive all or a portion of the fund value upon the termination of the fund.

A year end gift is a powerful way to make an impact. Your generosity changes the world around you and allows us to plan and ensure a promising future for generations of Susquehanna students. To learn more about these gifts and other creative ways to give back to Susquehanna, please contact us.
